ADOPT Initiative was born from seeing first-hand how easily young people can be overlooked because of their circumstances. A visit to a correctional centre revealed not only the challenges many adolescents face, but also their potential when someone chooses to see, support and invest in them.
That experience helped shape a vision that extends beyond correctional centres to adolescents in underserved communities who may lack access to education, mentorship, practical skills, health information and opportunities.
Today, ADOPT works to help bridge those gaps and remind every young person we encounter that their circumstances do not have to define their future.
An active initiative designed to remove financial and social barriers for adolescent girls in underserved secondary schools.
We are working towards supporting 100 girls with educational and practical opportunities designed to help them remain engaged in learning, build useful skills and move towards a more secure future.
