An educational initiative through which ADOPT engaged adolescents in career development and provided support towards WAEC fees, helping to reduce some of the financial barriers young people can face in continuing their education.
1. The Need
For many vulnerable families in public secondary schools, terminal examination fees present a severe financial burden, putting capable students at immediate risk of discontinuing their education.
2. What We Did
ADOPT organized intensive career roadmap seminars, subject masterclasses in core disciplines, and provided direct examination fee sponsorships for final-year students.
3. Who We Reached
Senior secondary school students across partner public schools in Rivers State preparing for national examinations.
4. The Outcome
Students received vital academic revision, financial relief for exam fees, and the clarity needed to pursue tertiary education or vocational training.
